The Columbia Pike Blues Festival is returning to Arlington. The festival features some of the hottest blues around and this year's headliner is Jesse Dee. The Boston Herald says that Dee has a powerful, raspy tenor and an uncanny phrasing ability that can't be taught. Spend the day listening to great music that will make you move!
Sunday, June 19th
Celebrate Father's Day with a focus on healthy living with the annual ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk, coming up on Sunday June 19th. The race begins at Pentagon Row Courtyard in Arlington and is a great way to support cancer research and survivors. There is a 5K walk/run and a 200 yard kids dash too, so the whole family can participate. Check out the event website for all the details and to register.

Head over to the Aurora Hills Arlington Public Library branch on Saturday June 25th and check out their Animal Adoption Fiar. Animals from the Washington Humane Society and folks from the Animal Welfare League will be on site to answer questions and help you find a new companion.
